Aromatherapy and Swedish massage.
A variety of treatments are offered by a qualified massage therapist.
Gentle yet powerful Aromatherapy massage blends are customised to
your individual needs. These sessions are stress relieving and deeply
relaxing, working on a physical and emotional level.
Dry Brush / Aromatherapy Massage
- the dry brushing exfoliates dead skin and inproves circulation.
It is followed by an Aromatherapy Massage. Swedish Massage is also
offered, providing deep relaxation and relief from physical pain.
Appointments range from half an hour to ninety minutes. Deep tissue
or Remedial Massage can release chronic patterns of tension caused
by specific problems such as whiplash, migraines, back and neck pain
and sports injuries.
Sports Massage warms up the muscles
before an event like Golf or Tennis. After an event it is used to
relax the muscles and eliminate lactic acid before muscles become
stiff and sore. It is also effective in treating sports injuries.
Reiki works to restore the bodies
own natural healing ability and restore the balance within oneself.
The practitioner gently place her hands in a series of position over
the body. Each position is held for a few minutes. The energy flows
to the areas of imbalance or need. The treatment takes approximately
one hour. It is a deeply relaxing experience with sensations ranging
from heat, cold and tingling.
Reiki and Ear candling - Auricular
Candling, also known as ear candling, is a delicate and natural therapy
used to remove excess wax buildup from deep within the Auricular canal.
The benefits of this are;
Calms the nervous system • Feeling of Cleanliest and lightness
due to wax removal • Stimulates reflex and energy points around
the ear • Can eliminate ringing in the ear (Tinnitus) •
No side effects - however, not recommended in case of infections,
perforated eardrums or allergies to ingredients.
