The
hot days continue and on one or two recent days temperature
records have been broken! So, for our UK readers in particular,
it’s not too late to jump on a flight, spend some sterling
(yes there is still some advantage over the Euro) and enjoy
Gibraltar’s weather whilst experiencing a common language
and currency within an environment that is also multi-cultural,
friendly and safe.
And enticingly we’re approximately two and a half hour’s
flying time from Gatwick, Heathrow, Luton and Manchester!
What’s on offer this summer? Read on.........

Poolside
barbecue dinner with a difference!
We
are continuing on from last summer's successful weekend al fresco
dining concept. The formula is the same, starting with our chef's
stunning plate of warm and cold tapas followed by superbly barbecued
meat, fish and vegetarian options with their appropriate sauces,
ending with another superbly crafted selection of our chef's
dessert 'tapas' with coffee to follow.
Last summer people said things like...
"I am writing to congratulate you on the superb barbecue
presented on Friday.
My husband and I have been to many Michelin accredited restaurants
around the world and I must say that the quality and presentation
of our meal on Friday would not look out of place in any of
these restaurants....For this calibre of food I would have expected
to pay much more. Once again thank you for a most excellent
evening, we are booking again this Friday. Could you be so kind
as to pass our compliments on to the chef and staff at the barbecue
on our behalf".
£24.95
per person

"To give life to beauty, the painter uses a whole
range of colours, musicians of sounds, the cook of tastes -and
it is indeed remarkable that there are seven colours, seven
musical notes and seven tastes."
Lucien Tendret (1825-1896)
