We are more than happy to do so. If you’re not quite ready to set your plans in stone, we can hold a provisional booking for two weeks prior to you paying the deposit.

We kindly ask you to confirm your booking by way of paying the deposit. Please contact our dedicated events team on +350 200 73000/events@rockhotel.gi to do so. We will send you written confirmation by email and of course will be on hand to support you as plans for your special day come together.

Deposit amounts are as follows; The Khaima: £1,000 || The Victory Suite with adjoining Sunset Terrace: £1,000 ||The Ceremony Room: £350 However, if you have over 40 guests attending your wedding, we are pleased to waive this fee entirely. These prices are valid for 2021 and are subject to change beyond this point.

The deposit is not refundable, but in light of current events we have made it possible for your wedding to be postponed up to one year without you losing any money.

Please contact our reservations team at reservations@rockhotel.gi, stating your requirements. They will be happy to offer you the best available rates.

At least one month before your wedding day, we need to be made aware of the number of guaranteed guests attending your wedding as well as their food choices and dietary requirements. Payment must also be made by that time. This ensures we have everything in place and can focus on all the final touches or any last minute changes.

We have free parking at the hotel that is subject to availability.

We have three beautiful and private venues available for you to choose from depending on what it is you’re looking for; The Khaima, The Ceremony Room, The Victory Suite and the adjoining Sunset Terrace. The Khaima, our authentic, stunning and spacious Moroccan marquee is located next to the pool in a shaded and quiet area of the hotel, and provides the perfect venue to create that exclusive and uniquely magical ambience. Emanating a timeless elegance, The Victory Suite and the adjoining Sunset Terrace boast unparalleled views of Gibraltar’s magnificent seascape and the Rif Mountains of Morocco in the distance, providing a spectacular experience for you and your guests. For a more intimate Wedding, The Ceremony Room is a romantic and memorable spot offering the same jaw dropping views across the bay of Gibraltar.

During the summer months, from April 1st to October 31st, the pool decking can be hired for private use from 20:30. During daytime the pool area is open to all hotel residents and those with a pool membership. During Winter months the pool is not open so the pool decking is not subject to these time restrictions.

We are somewhat flexible and do our utmost to accommodate your needs. Generally, capacities are as follows;
- Victory Suite / Sunset Terrace
Min. 20 with 160 people seated in the Victory Suite.
Min. 20 people with max. 70 people seated on the Terrace.
- The Khaima and Pool Decking
Min. 40 people with max. 200 seated
- The Ceremony Room
Max 30 people seated

If you have more than 40 guests enjoying food and drinks at your wedding, we are delighted to waive the room fee.

The light drenched Victory Suite and the adjoining Sunset Terrace, as well as the Khaima, are best suited to accommodate a larger wedding.

The Ceremony Room, a romantic and memorable spot offering the same jaw dropping views across the bay of Gibraltar is the perfect option for smaller weddings. You can then have your wedding reception in the restaurant or on the Wisteria Terrace, both of which are elegant and public areas of the hotel.

Generally, until the open bar closes at 11pm. However, if you wish to enjoy the bar beyond this point we ask for a minimum consumption of £500 per hour, the latest the bar can stay open being 2am.

We can guarantee you full access to your chosen Venue 2 hours prior to your Wedding. However, if the venue is available before these 2 hours, you are of course more than welcome to gain access beforehand.

You are free to bring your own DJ if you wish, however we can recommend a reputable local DJ if you are interested. You can also plug in your own music with a USB or a standard headphone jack. Please note that in accordance with Gibraltar law, music must be turned down by 11pm. We will ask you to agree and sign a music disclaimer form to ensure adherence to this regulation.

We provide white chair covers and white table cloths. We can also provide you with details of wedding decorators here in Gibraltar. We can order flowers on your behalf if you choose.

We absolutely can. Our award-winning chefs can accommodate any and all food allergies, sensitivities, intolerances, dietary requirements and lifestyle choices, whilst preserving the high standards of fine dining.

If you are planning a Wedding Ceremony & celebration in either the Khaima or the Victory Suite and Sunset Terrace, and you have 30 plus guests in attendance, we can offer you a choice of 3 Wedding Celebration Packages; Dahlia Wedding Package, Calla Lily Wedding Package, or Orchid Wedding Package, of which further details can be found on the Wedding section of our website. www.rockhotelgibraltar.com

Our menu for the little ones comes at £14.00, or half the price and portion of the adults menu. The children’s menu includes delicious pizza, spaghetti Bolognese and chicken nuggets. All prices are guaranteed if your booking is made by the end of 2021, but are subject to slight change after this time.

Both the Victory Suite and adjoining Sunset Terrace, and the Ceremony Room are drenched in sunshine during the day thanks to our large arching windows. During the evening hours The Victory Suite and the Ceremony Room are lit by soft spotlights. The Sunset Terrace and the Khaima also have fairy lights that create a truly enchanting atmosphere.

The short answer is no. Getting married in Gibraltar is incredibly hassle free, but please remember to make all the necessary arrangements with the Registry office here in Gibraltar. We offer a delicious Sponge cake with buttercream and royal icing, with simple elegant decoration, at £10 per person. If you send us a photo of a cake you like we can let you know if it is something we can replicate. We will ask you to agree and sign a cake disclaimer form to ensure that liability for food hygiene stands with the client/cake provider and not with the hotel.

Yes of course you can bring your own cake, we can cut and serve your cake for free if you also have a dessert as part of your menu. A fee £4.00 per person for cutting and serving the cake applies if a dessert from ourselves is not part of your menu

We have an exclusivity agreement with our supplier so we cannot allow bringing your own beverages. We trust you can find your favourite drinks in our Beverage List or you can ask us and we will try to get them for you.
